Our crossbreeding program started with our purebred Brahman and Artificial Insemination, using Brown Swiss for better milk production and Charolais and Angus to improve beef quality. After seeing great results, we are striving to achieve purity of each breed.
Charolais
Our registered Charolais studs are up to 94%
pure blood, for ranchers interested in
improving their meat production.
Brown Swiss
This is the only dairy breed we offer, with
studs up to 94% pure blood to improve
milk production.
Angus
Our latest crossbreed program, using black
and red Angus semen looking for calves,
primarily for fattening, with superior quality
meat for the industry.
Crossbreeding
Looking for something more specialized in the milk and beef fields, but keeping our Brahman origins, we started crossbreeding with Brown Swiss for higher milk production and Charolais for better beef yield, while maintaining Brahman’s heat tolerance. Having benefited from the great hybrid vigor these breeds offer, we decided to purify both lines so you can enjoy it too in Honduras’ mostly Brahman herds.
Registered Charolais
An important milestone in our business was achieved in 2017 with the selection and registration of our Charolais founding herd with FENAGH. As a result, our customers who purchase Charolais studs receive a pedigree with genealogical traceability, just like they do for our Purebred Brahman.
