OUR STORY
All In The Family
Established in 1904 and located in Honduras, Hacienda Los Ocotales began a 4-generation family legacy of livestock, agriculture, and forestry. In 1915 we added Hacienda Buenavista. Now, we focus on livestock farming, with a passion for Purebred Brahman.
Livestock
Our livestock farming focuses on beef cattle for breeding and grazing, specifically Purebred Registered Brahman and Registered Charolais. We also supply beef to meatpacking companies from our feedlot and grazing programs.

Sustainable and Responsible
Integrating The Land
We combine our forestry and cattle business through silvopasture. Supply, primarily, raw pine wood for the domestic industry, but also cedar and oak for tobacco related activities. Sustainable management is important to us, we conduct reforestation projects to comply with local laws, and to expand silvopasture areas for our herd. Our agricultural business focuses on traditional crops, multiplying certified corn and bean seed for known seed producers, and including crop residues in our herd’s diet.
